SECRET OF LIFE -- The Missing Link between cellular consciousness and multicell creatures is exemplified by Siphonophores. These deep sea colonies of specialized groups of individual cells that arrange themselves into larger groups of differently specialized "body"-functions ("organs") that respond and process food in a manner like an individual animal would, but all of the individual cells can separate and go their own way if desired. The only difference between them and larger life forms seems to be the connectivity between the individual cells of larger animals and the central nervous system (including the brain). This can provide real insight into the relationship of the individual cell to our whole body. Siphonophores even travel in much the same way as larger sea creatures, utilizing their own specialized propulsion system.

PERSONAL ECONOMICS -- In addition to the need for science and math education in the public schools, personal finance and financial responsibility need to be emphasized, with practical training in managing a checking account, balancing expenses between necessities and leisure activities, as well as developing an appreciation for a healthy, self-sustaining lifestyle.
SOLUTIONS FOR GLOBAL WARMING -- Accommodate climate changes and energy depletion with storm resistant structures, enclosed gardens, telecommuting, "off-the-grid" solar, wind and energy cell utilization, eco-friendly attitudes and regulation.
UNIVERSAL CONSCRIPTION -- In order to deter war, lawmakers would be less inclined to utilize our troops for questionable purposes if their own were among those destined to die in combat. In this regard, I would propose universal conscription as the most fair and effective means to this end. Say, a two year stint from ages 18 to 20 for every man and woman (no exceptions or deferments of any kind) would be required, but allowing special assignments for pacifists and the handicapped -- thereby giving every man and woman in our country the ability to defend against an invasion of our homeland --- and provide a common national consciousness. Of course, incentives would be required to retain officers and career soldiers for more specialized training.
AFGHANISTAN -- Why can't we contract the Poppy Warlords of Afghanistan to produce medical supplies of morphine?
BIG TOBACCO -- Similarly, the tobacco industry in the United States could be converted to the production of medical marijuana; and recreational marijuana could be taxed to bolster our failing state economies while removing the "number one cash crop" of many states from control of the drug cartels and their associated violence.
PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE -- Beware (Be Aware) that Pseudoscience ("insane in the M-Brane...") is being promulgated by biased or naive research groups and partisian political organizations using governmental powers to further their agendas, and by fundamentalist religious groups in order to supplant science with their religious doctrines. Examples are creationism (recently disguised as "Intelligent Design" in order to infiltrate our schools), the Bush administration's denial of global warming in order to support anti-environmental development policies worldwide, Big Bang Theory (a simplistic interpretation of CMBE, and red shift data as "doppler" data, that has grown into an obtuse self-justification of misdirected research), the propaganda against marijuana (one of the most beneficial plants on the planet that is being suppressed by alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceutical and timber industries as well as religious discrimination against eastern and other religious practices), plus lies about LSD (inaccurately claiming that it is mutagenic, or DNA altering) in order to scare seekers from experiencing higher levels of consciousness, authentic spiritual experience, ESP and the "bioplasmic universe."
BOGUS "Scientific" CONCEPTS:
Flat Earth Theory
Genetic Racial Superiority -- an attempt by the monied elite to justify the de facto caste/slave system already in place
Time Travel (other than suspended animation)
Teleportation without destruction of object
Space Elevator
Superstring Theory
Big Bang Theory
Physical Singularities (a mathematical term only) Rather, think: "Newtonian black holes"
Physical Indetermancy (it's really our limited
ability to measure physical processes)
Neutrinos (proposed by measuring scattering angles
from photons as single particles rather than as binary dipoles)
Photon having zero mass, an approximation that was later "defined" (remember E=mc^2=hf)
Space-Time (neither is substantial: time is
referential to location and change of location due to interactions; and space is nothingness)
If these misconceptions are corrected, unified field theory will be solvable.
